THREE CLUB SHOW - Saturday, March 5, 2016

Advance tickets for the Three Club Show will be on sale at Tuesday night’s meeting and at the meetings on Feb. 16th and 23rd. Advanced tickets are $10 each. Tickets will also be available at the door on March 5, but for $12 each.

When buying tickets, you need to decide whether to buy tickets for the 8:00 pm A/V shows or the 9:00 pm A/V shows.

Invite family and friends to see A/V shows and prints from the three local camera club, Trillium. Latow and Hamiton. Refreshments provided.

CALL FOR PRINTS FOR THE THREE CLUB SHOW

We need prints for the 3 Club Show on Saturday, March 5, 2015. The print format is the same as for the Print Salon, so please feel free to submit prints from this year's print salon. Full details are below. Please read them carefully.

Three Club Print Guidelines

Date: March 5, 2015, 7:30 to 10 PM

Entries: Each club will be permitted to have only 50 prints on display, with a maximum of 3 entries per member.

Specifications:

Prints must be mounted or securely fastened to a backing board for protection. Over-matts are permitted. It is recommended that these be white or a neutral colour.

It is recommended that a print be no smaller than 8”X10” for best viewing. Prints are to be no larger than 16” x 22”.

Due to hanging and storing challenges, we can’t accept framed prints or prints with glass or mounts with hangers, wire or cord attached.

More than one image on a matt will be counted as one entry.

The entrant must have taken the original photograph from which the print is made.

Prints may be produced by either traditional chemical darkroom or computer printer techniques OR be commercially produced at a lab.

On the back, in the top right hand corner, print your Name and the Title of the image. Also put an arrow pointing to the top indicating which way the image should be viewed.

If you are submitting two or more prints number them on the back as “1” being your 1st choice, “2” being your 2nd choice and “3” being your 3rd choice. In the event we have more than 50 prints submitted, they will be included on a first come, first served basis with the 1st choice prints selected first, followed by the 2nd and 3rd choice prints.

How to Participate

Email Bob Chapman at trilliumprintsalon@gmail.com no later than Feb. 23rd, giving your name and the titles of each of the prints you will enter. Labels for each of your prints will be made from this information. Send the information in the following format to facilitate label making.

TITLE OF IMAGE

Bring your prepared and matted prints to the church on Saturday, March 5 before 3 pm . If that is impossible, bring them at the meeting on Feb. 23rd to Bob Chapman or John Strung. We would very much prefer you bring them on March 5, however, as we have limited storage space at the church.

Include a note with your name and the titles of each of your prints with your print submission.

At the end of the show on March 5, take your prints home with you or arrange for someone else to take them home.

A/V Show

Bob Chapman will be creating Trillium’s A/V show from some of the best images submitted to clinics in the last 12 months.
