Hello Photography Friends,
Join me in Algonquin Park and surrounding areas to photograph snow covered pines, crystalized vegetation and quiet frozen lakes. Wildlife possibilities include: moose, whitetail deer, martin, red fox, wintering birds like the ruffed and spruce grouse, pine & evening grosbeaks, pileated, hairy and downy woodpeckers, white & red-breasted nuthatches, blue & grey jays, boreal chickadee, red polls and pine siskin.

What to Expect
The 2 day workshop will focus on how to achieve attractive backgrounds using depth of field and focal length. You will learn what shutter speeds to use for specific animals to take advantage of lower ISO’s, as well as what angles are more interesting or more attractive. I will give you tips on how to locate wildlife and what time of the day each animal or bird is more active, and show you how to best compose landscapes and wildlife images. You will learn how to consistently acquire focus in thick forest, and because we are in a small group I will be available to answer and assist you with any other questions you may have.
