We understand—choosing the right club is an important decision. At Trillium, we believe the best way to decide is not just by hearing about us, but by experiencing what we do firsthand.
That’s why we offer a Trial Membership for $25.00—a limited opportunity to explore Trillium from the inside.
What You’ll Experience
As a Trial Member, you’re invited to observe our weekly meetings, giving you a true sense of how the club operates, the topics we cover, and the supportive community we’ve built. And that’s just the beginning.
During your trial period, you may also:
- Join club outings, including Meet & Greets, workshops, and photo opportunities at prime locations like the Raptor Conservancy, Street Photography Outings, Rodeos, Air Shows. Pow Wows and others.
- Participate in Special Interest Groups, such as Birding, Macro Photography, Street Photography, and more
- Participate in Themes Night and Workshops
- Attend meetings in person or virtually via Zoom, as most meetings are hybrid
(Some activities are virtual only, while select presentations by guest speakers are in-person only.)
How the Trial Membership Works
The Trial Membership provides access to four consecutive weekly meetings, offering a well-rounded introduction to the variety of content Trillium delivers. Meeting topics vary, and may include:
- Invited Speakers
Past speakers include Kas Stone, Sharon Tenenbaum, Richard Bélanger, and Shiree Jetha - Theme Nights
Topics such as Wildlife, Black & White, Water, Music, and more - My Photography Night
An opportunity for members to showcase their work - Print Salon – An opportunity to display prints of your creations to club members and the public
- Clinic Results – (Participation in Clinics is reserved for members only)
Observe the results of professionally judged member submissions with constructive critique
(Five clinics per session)
All Tuesday meetings are focused entirely on photography-related topics, not club business.

What You Should Know
- The Trial Membership is a one-time offer for prospective new members
- If you decide to join Trillium, the Trial Membership fee is deducted from your full membership cost
- If a meeting does not occur during your trial period, your access will be extended to ensure four consecutive meetings
- The Trial Membership cannot be renewed or extended beyond the four meetings—no exceptions
