Show more at the top, if available, as the clothes hanging on the line and the columns on the left side are cut off and the ornate, white railing near the top looks very tight in the frame. The lighting is very nice, but add a little contrast to give the image more punch.

J1 It's an interesting image, but he background is really harsh. Consider moving to a plate or a dark pan to make the snails more prominent from the background. J3 This image is sharp and well exposed. The composition could be improved by giving some separation between the snails and showing the viewer a background that has context for the subjects. One might expect live snails to be on a plant and cooked snail on a plate. The composition leaves the viewer puzzled about what the story might be and therefore reduces audience appeal

J1 Use faster shutter speed to decrease all the overexposure. Your lamps and the glare from everything overpowers any interesting features you meant to show. If you were able to - you need to step to the right to have the lamps to the side so you can see the monuments and the road around it. Do not shoot up - more forward view would have rendered less of a converging distortion. J3 The maker had a good idea to capture a night scene. The image has a few issues The large billboard , the light post in the middle of the composition and the considerable perspective distortion in the structures. Try standing in a different place and try not to point your camera up which brings in the leaning buildings.

J1 Quite precious shot. The exposure and soft skin is perfect. My issue is with the white blanket. Consider using a fabric that is not textured. I am sure it was soft, but visually for a photo, it fights with the softness of the baby. Maybe crop a bit off the left edge to have the baby occupy 2/3 of the image.

The stark black background isolates the top drop nicely, but it could have had a slightly lighter blue tone in it to harmonize with the rest. If doing this indoors, consider more colorful fun background to reflect in the drop.

J1 Very intriguing. Made me look for a while to see the whole concept. First you only see the the light, then you clue in on the dark parts. It's quite vertically skinny - consider the glass positioning a tiny bit further out. J2 Interesting idea, but there is not enough to grab onto, visually. Perhaps next time, add a touch of fill light on the shadow side to provide more separation from the background and to add more visual interest. Also suggest adding a very thin line around the image to separate it from the background. J3 The lighting on the glass and bottle are nicely handled. To increase viewer impact try backlighting from the left just enough to reveal the backside of the bottle to give separation from your background. Try adding a 1-2 pixel stroke around the edge of the canvas frame to define your canvas apart from the black background in the judge's scoring display

J1 Neat idea. Good composition and juxtaposition of tractor opposite the farm house. The creative de-saturation does not work like this. It makes the image too drab. If you left just a hint of dark green in there, the red would stand out even better and the sky wouldn't take over the image. This way the sky competes with the tractor with just grey in between.
